It was fantastic chairing a session on men’s health at the recent World Confederation for Physical Therapy Congress 2017 in Cape Town. Studies undertaken across the globe are proving the need for more research into, and greater understanding of, pelvic health, post-prostatectomy recovery and male pelvic pain. PROST! Inc. is joining other organisations to promote Men’s Health Week with our founding Physiotherapist Jo Milios running the session at The Yoga Vine, Ashton Chambers, Lower Ground Floor, 187 St George’s Terrace. Perth.
We are thrilled to be involved with this important promotion of Men’s Health, that aims to help men and boys manage a healthy body both, physically, mentally and emotionally, in a busy and sometimes challenging world. The theme of the morning is “Healthy Mind, Healthy Body- Keeping the Balance”.
You’ll start with an invigorating, mindful yoga class then enjoy an informal Q+A with Perth’s leading mens health expert and physiotherapist Jo Milios, who has more than 20 years clinical experience and specialises in physical conditions unique to men. She works in tandem with Urologists, Sexual Health Physicians, Exercise Physiologists and Psychologists with an aim to restore better male health.
